Lo-fi chilling, Texas swanging, soul-filled spirit embodies who Tynacity is. Based out of Rockford, Il, Tynacity is a hip-hop artist, songwriter, and creative from originally from Texas. Tynacity was a definition of a drifter. He moved around a lot when he was younger. Tynacity grew up on Outkast and UGK which has influenced his music tremendously, he now tries to creatively live in the tension of his southern influences and that chill lo-fi sound. Trying to elevate himself as an artist he has taught himself the piano so he can utilize it at times to add a different element to his performance. He loves using lo-fi, soulful, and boom bap type beats for his music, but can still be versatile using trap type beats. His music is where the vibes meet substance.

He makes music for the ones overlooked, for the ones who are in the streets, the ones who feel like they have nothing left, the ones who just don’t know what’s next, he does music for the have nots. Tynacity remembers when he was close to being another number in a broken system. He almost played the cards society tried to deal, but had plans of changing the narrative. He knows what it’s like losing friends to the barrel of gun, losing friends to suicide, the feeling of nothingness, feeling hopeless, but through it all he found hope. That’s why he has a message that wants to motivate people to chase that dream as they hear him chase his. Hoping he can be a voice through tough times, a voice to give hope, and a voice for overcoming.

Tynacity has performed at many venues in front of thousands to small intimate shows. It doesn’t matter the venue size, Tynacity’s awareness to the culture of his crowds allow him to relate to the crowds he performs in front of. Tynacity has opened for Thi’sl, Ty Brasel, and Jay-Way.
